Better train-ing for Te Upoko o te Ika? Tune in!
Wellington’s metropolitan (suburban) rail upgrade has been a long time coming, and a long time in the delivering. Tune in to a livestream Thursday 31st August to hear more.
It’ll be a combined effort with Horizons Manawatū District Council as the outer parts of Te Upoko o te Ika are the focus of the talk: investments in access to and from the Wairarapa and Papaioea – Palmerston North.
It’s great to have progress on the ongoing mission to improve summarised below – but slowly, slowly, because goodness knows it’s not like road investment.
While rail patronage is back up to basically pre-COVID levels despite more working from home.
